October 13, 2009 @ Shinders

We are moving the show to the space previously known as SHINDERS in downtown MPLS for this one night of improvised musics. The owner of Chambers, Ralph Burnett, is hosting an exhibit of Mathew Bakkom’s artwork and they are using Shinders to have a satellite group show for his friends in conjunction with his own. A very exciting opportunity for the series to continue engaging with malleable spaces and interact with the local arts scene.

Shinders is at 731 Hennepin Ave.

WE ARE NOT ABANDONING ART OF THIS, just taking advantage of this opportunity. I can’t express enough gratitude and joy for our experience with the AOT gallery and the people therein. Hats off to them!

A special treat for this Tuesday. The local artist collective Hardland / Heartland is in the process of installing for an upcoming exhibition with Monica Canilao.
In conjunction with the transformation of the gallery, the music series will incorporate visual elements and sound from members of HL / HL.
This will be a great opportunity for the community of the music series to systematically engage with local visual artists and the malleable space of the gallery and the activities therein.
More information on the upcoming exhibition can be found at http://www.hardlandheartland.com/
